Finding the right companies to reach out to can feel like finding a needle in a haystack. But with the right tools and strategy, you can work smarter and achieve better results in no time.

Here’s how I streamlined a prospecting campaign for a client targeting oil and gas companies with enhanced oil recovery services:

  1. Narrowing Down a Broad List

    • We started with a list of 500+ companies from Apollo.

    • Using AI, we analyzed company websites to determine if they were involved in physically extracting oil from wells.

    • Result? We filtered the list down to 97 relevant companies!

  2. Refining the Criteria

    • Offshore companies weren’t a fit for our client.

    • We used another prompt to identify whether companies were offshore, onshore, or both.

    • This refined the list further to just 60 perfect-fit companies.

  3. Prioritizing Decision Makers

    • Each contact was ranked as A, B, or C based on their likelihood of being the decision-maker.

    • This ensured we reached out to the right people at the right companies.
